Tuba Essentials “Customized Tuba Stand”
My thanks and appreciation to Pat Hultman and all the creative folks at Tuba Essentials, I’ve recently had a shoulder operation and am unable to lift my instrument. Their Adjustable Tuba Stand has been a lifesaver getting me back on my horn and I’ve discovered an added bonus. Because I can’t grab the horn with my left hand I’m playing with considerably less pressure but I’m able to maintain my sound, flexibility and range. Thanks once again for going above and beyond attending to my particular circumstances.

Physically Handicapped Can Now Enjoy Band
I am so excited to be able to use this product in my band program. I have two beginners this year that have physical handicaps and they were not going to be able to be in band. This stand has created the opportunity for them to learn how to play music. It is the only stand we found that fits our needs. The others were too bulky and did not support the instrument at the correct position. Thank you to Pat and his staff for all of their hard work and for making it possible for these young ladies to experience the joy of Band!

One of the most interesting new products I found at the recent TMEA convention in San Antonio was a custom made tuba stand. The creative people at Tuba Essentials have developed an affordable and very workable tuba stand. They will build a stand to fit any tuba, baritone or euphonium. The stands are designed to be adjustable for the size of the player and the particular instrument. This stand is ideal for helping smaller players concentrate on playing the instrument instead of struggling not to drop it. I certainly wish this product had been around in 1966 when I was trying to play the tuba. Being just over 5′ tall, I found it challenging to find a position for the tuba that made it possible to keep it off the floor and at the same time not have the mouthpiece come just above my head.

I am a professional tuba player and a middle school band director. If you play the tuba or teach tuba, this new tuba stand is the smartest design I've seen and used. It's totally adjustable and can be made to fit almost any size of tuba player. The stand is less than 10 pounds and can be easily moved around the band hall on the wheels. With or without the swing arm attachment, this is a great product. The folks at Tuba Essentials have done their homework. I highly recommend this stand.

Students and Custodians Love Them
These stands are incredible. We have several older bell-front recording tubas that we love and they all fit great in the new stands. This was a "must have" for us when I first saw them and they are working great. The students love them and even our custodians love them for ease of cleaning and moving them compared to our old stands. They look great and the ease of use is incredible. Having taught at all levels for more than fifty years (Elementary, High School and University bands) there was always a problem with the size, weight, and storage of the tuba. Because of its adjustable qualities, this stand eliminates all of these problems. The stand improves the ease of handling while playing and transporting the tuba.
